Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Draft for launch — pending legal review before general availability.

This Privacy Policy explains how ProofLoupe ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our print-proofing service and website.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, work email, phone number (if you enable SMS), organization name, and authentication credentials.
  • Proof content — the artwork, proofs, comments, and approvals you and your reviewers upload or create. This content belongs to your organization.
  • Usage & device data — log data, IP address, and product analytics used to operate and improve the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, process proofs, send transactional and lifecycle notifications, bill for usage, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

SMS / text-message notifications

SMS notifications are an optional, opt-in add-on. If your organization enables SMS and you provide and verify a mobile number, you consent to receive proof-workflow text messages (for example, "a proof is ready for your review").

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You opt in explicitly by verifying your number in your account; you may opt out at any time.
  • Message frequency varies with your proofing activity. Standard message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Opting out stops further messages to that number.
  • Messages are sent from a shared, platform-managed sender pool; your organization's identity is carried in the message content.
  • We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention

Proof image data is retained per your plan's retention window; billed records are kept for reconciliation. You can request deletion of personal data subject to our legal obligations.

Security

Each organization's data is isolated in its own database. See our Security page for details.
